ok. question. i’m old and slow at times. do i stick the 7 things here or the award goes to page? a letter to the editor of my local fish wrap? on my lame page? on your home page? a letter to garcia? a note nailed to my forehead? my first and only tattoo? scratch that, it’s something i won’t do. i think you get me drift. suffice it to say i hope there’s not a lot of work involved.

Thank you so very much for nominating me for the “Tell Me About Yourself” award! Or is it that you are just curious about this old lady? (ha!) Anyway, here are the 7 things about myself that I THINK are new:
1. I only allowed myself to go totally white-haired(no fakery) 18 months ago.
2. I can still walk over 8 miles without stopping, except to sip water and retrieve a munchie from my pack.
3. I have 3 dogs and 1 cat, who all sleep curled up together on “their” bed.
4. I grew up as a Methodist, became an Episcopalian as a young adult, and rejoined the United Methodist Church about 3 1/2 years ago.
5. I try to eat only unprocessed, organic foods.
6. I was the only member of my class in elementary school who threw up trying to sit through a horror movie.
7. I have been told many times that I have an “operatic” voice, but it absolutely does not blend with others when trying to sing in choirs.
I am now going to copy/paste these seven things into my first post today. That is all I know how to do at this point. Please instruct if further work is required. Do I also need to nominate some websites?

You are so sweet to give me an award. I’m thrilled, and consider it quite an honor. You run a top notch blog!!! But like the your other awardees (is that even a word?), I need some time. I spent a very long, bloated holiday weekend, which extended into today, ignoring anything that didn’t involve stuffing, cranberry sauce, and bourbon. Sigh…back to work.
I plan to visit the awards pages. These awards are a great way to get to discover new blogs and their writers’ passions. We are all so very different.
