I would like to invite all of you to visit my awards pages. I have the priviledge of drawing attention to some of the blogs I enjoy through the presentation of several awards. The And the Award Goes To page contains links to all of the different awards being presented. If you haven’t time for all of them, I’d really like you to check out the 7 x 7 Link Award. It links seven of my favorite blogs and seven of my older posts — the ones I consider Most Beautiful, Most Helpful, Most Popular, Most Controversial, Most Surprisingly Successful, Most Underrated, and Most Prideworthy. I’m quite proud of them all, but that one in particular.
Regular posts will begin again in the next day or two. Thank you all for your patience while I discharged my “Freshly Pressed” and blog award duties. I’ll try to make the next post a good one.

Glad you read it – this is one message that needs passing on to friends and family, especially as it came from the BBC TV news.
If I had, had any interest in iTunes I’d have opened it without hesitation – it was sheer luck that I didn’t…
The medication is now fully integrated with my system so I’m feeling almost normal again.
I just hope those idiots at the pharmacy don’t screw it up again…

In the last three and one-half years we got nominated for an award one time (lost) and had one award presented to us. It is all kind of moot for us, as we never paste them on the home page and kind of keep them to ourselves, just thank those who gave it to us, and then it is back to work.
We have never been fresh pressed but this weekend, came up with a winner of sorts and it is currently getting about 800 hits per day (A Moment In Time) and we did get featured blog status on blogs in Oklahoma …
So I guess we are doing alright?
My reward is in the comments, when you know that you have done something that made a person stop and consider his/her choices, that you made an impact on someone’s life … That is where it is (for me anyway).
I did check out your awards page … pretty cool.

I don’t mind visiting the ‘Spaces to Visit’ that are offered as a result of these awards but as for the awards themselves I have never bothered with them, and I don’t mean just here in WordPress Miss. D but that is just my own preference and if others enjoy the awards then so be it… I will be honest, I just cannot stand the sight of them 🙂 lol

I do appreciate the awards that are offered to me as this is always a nice gesture, being that peeps think that my Space is worthy enough to receive an award but I always decline out of preference, however for those that like these awards it is something nice for them, but they are just not for me my wickedly fine friend…

Like prenin, I find the awards business confusing and distracting from my writing, which I am SO enjoying and SO immersed in after 20+ years of “hiding my light”, so to speak.
