If I knew then, what I know now . . . What would I have done differently?
The answer might surprise you . . . Nothing.
If I hadn’t done then . . . What I did,
I wouldn’t know now . . . What I know.
What I have experienced in my life . . . Is what has made me.
I am at peace with who I am
And seek now only to be myself . . .
To feel and express what is inside me . . .
To cherish the joys and pains fate has bestowed upon me . . .
To share my heart, my soul, and my body . . .
With another in unconditional love and acceptance.
If I had not done then what I did . . . I would not know this now.

Bravo! You go.
This is the place we all try to arrive to.

What you so eloquently and poetically said, is also reflected in the words of the song, “My Way”:
And now, the end is near;
And so I face the final curtain.
My friend, I’ll say it clear,
I’ll state my case, of which Im certain.
I’ve lived a life that’s full.
I’ve traveled each and every highway;
And more, much more than this,
I did it my way.
Regrets, I’ve had a few;
But then again, too few to mention.
I did what I had to do
And saw it through without exemption.
I planned each charted course;
Each careful step along the byway,
But more, much more than this,
I did it my way.
Yes, there were times, I’m sure you knew
When I bit off more than I could chew.
But through it all, when there was doubt,
I ate it up and spit it out.
I faced it all and I stood tall;
And did it my way.
Ive loved, I’ve laughed and cried.
I’ve had my fill; my share of losing.
And now, as tears subside,
I find it all so amusing.
To think I did all that;
And may I say – not in a shy way,
No, oh no not me,
I did it my way.
For what is a man, what has he got?
If not himself, then he has naught.
To say the things he truly feels;
And not the words of one who kneels.
The record shows I took the blows -
And did it my way!

Being at peace with yourself is a wonderful place to be.
Thoughts and words are the building blocks to creating our reality. But we often are not aware of the power each one represents in our quest to create the reality we desire:

I represent author Susan Hanshaw’s upcoming book “Inner Architect: How To Build The Life You Were Designed To Live.”
Would you consider reviewing the book in June?
Thank you!
